We are pleased to offer a series of seasonal bargain breaks throughout the year to tempt you to visit our B&B Guest House in North Devon.
Each season brings its character and charm to this part of the West Country. The South West Coastal Path and Exmoor National Park in particular mirror the changes in the season with vibrant colour and shades emphasised by the change in light levels. Walkers, golfers and other outdoor pursuit enthusiasts enjoy the facilities and features that North Devon has to offer, no matter what the season. There is a vast range of attractions such as National Trust locations, indoor markets including Barnstaple Pannier Market and gardens to explore.
A particular feature of West Down Guest House is the warm welcome that you receive from Roger and Brenda returning to your bed and breakfast accommodation after your day exploring the wonders of the Devon area. This is especially true in Autumn and Winter when the warmth of West Down, the excellent guest house accommodation and the award winning food are particularly welcome.
Winter Four Night Short Break
Enjoy a four night dinner, bed and breakfast Winter break. Winter in North Devon brings out a wide spectrum of colours over the moors and the valleys. Winter snows and frosts create truly magnificent sites. The wild North Devon Atlantic facing beaches with rolling breakers are great for beach walks.
Towns and villages such as Barnstaple, Torrington and Bideford with their pannier markets and unique specialist shops make for ideal exploration and for finding that special and unique Christmas or birthday present.

Summer One Week Special Offer
Treat yourself to a Spring / Summer one week break. These are particularly popular in early Spring and late Summer when the crowds are yet to arrive or have departed. This leaves you to explore North Devon at your leisure while the weather is likely to be warm and pleasant.
The South West Coastal Path and coastal towns such as Lynton and Lynmouth, Ilfracombe, Instow, Appledore and Clovelly are worth a summer visit.
You might be fortunate and witness the unloading of a catch of freshly caught crab and lobster from the seas around Lundy Island in the Bristol Channel. This was England’s first statutory Marine Conservation Zone.
