Set into a steep hillside, Clovelly is one of the most famous villages in the world. The single cobbled high street winds its way down the hillside through traditional whitewashed cottages festooned with fuchsias and geraniums. Unusually, this North Devon village is privately owned and has been by the same family since 1738. Their policy is to care for Clovelly and keep it in the style of the mid C19th.
Quince Honey Farm
Quince Honey Farm is a family run business which has been producing quality honey since 1949. Our 1500 hives are kept deep in the North Devon Countryside amongst the wild flowers from which the bees collect their sweet nectar. Every August, when Exmoor turns purple, all of the hives are moved up to the moors to collect the exquisite Exmoor Heather Honey.
