Chutneys, Pickled Onions and Pickled Red Cabbage at North Devon B&B Guest House
With Christmas preparations well underway Brenda found time in early December to utilise her AA Award wining cooking skills by making chutneys and pickling onions and red cabbage at her Devon B&B Guest House .
Using produce that had been grown earlier this year by Roger in the West Down vegetable garden, Brenda set to work in the kitchen preparing and pickling using her own well tried recipes that she had developed over the years welcoming guests to the North Devon B&B Guest House.
With everything bottled and safely stored away in the guest house pantry there was only one thing left to do and that was for Brenda and Roger to sit down and sample the fruits of their labours with some local cheeses and pate – perfect !!
