West Down B&B Guest House vegetable garden

Work continues in the West Down B&B Guest gardens

Roger and Brenda at West Down B&B Guest House have kept themselves busy during the Covid-19 lockdown by focusing on the garden and vegetable plot.

They want to ensure that West Down looks stunning with its range of annual blooms and established perennials. The Hostas have been getting lots of attention getting them in position before the slugs find them.

The vegetable garden is already starting to show the fruits of the hard work that Roger and apprentice gardener Brenda have put in with the first early potatoes showing well and any weeds being given short shift.

Roger and Brenda are missing welcoming old friends and new guests to West Down but are very positive that when the current lockdown rules are relaxed that they will be ready with a warm welcome and that the house, gardens and kitchen will be open for business.

There are obviously no late availability dates to offer  but we are still offering our summer one week special offer and autumn / winter short break which can be booked now.
