Green House Repairs at West Down B&B Guest House

This post shows life at West Down B&B Guest House in early March – Life before Caronavirus !!

Roger decided that the greenhouses needed some work done on them before the spring growing season started. So he set to work, well protected from the cold wind and made them ready for spring planting. At least he was two meters away from anyone !!

Each year in early spring RogerĀ  starts sowing rows and rows of spring and summer bedding as well as trays of vegetables ready for planting out in late spring. These are then cropped ready for Brenda’s award winning meals along with potatoes that are planted also in early spring and harvested in early summer.

We hope that the affects of the Caronavirus will eventually pass and that we can welcome you once more to West Down B&B Guest House, Barnstaple.

Please check out our special offers and availability pages or telephone us to discuss your holiday or short break plans.
