The 5 rooms, all ensuite, have proved invaluable this Christmas when all the family were here to stay and by golly this year we have seen it grow. Amy & Kevin had a beautiful baby girl called Chloe on March 22nd. She is a little angel with a sensational smile, just like her mother. The news then filtered through that Mandy & Paul were expecting so midwife mother travels around the world to Australia to complete the deliveries of the grandchildren with the arrival of Baby Alfie on September 17th, the most handsome little chap you have ever seen and by jobe he is the spitting image of his father. Dad and Amy held the fort at home and they coped very well. Dad even managed to upgrade facilities in the Kitchen and the car park for additional parking. Dad was then thrilled to get the call that the troops from ‘Down Under’ were travelling over for Christmas. To make it complete Andrew, Thomas, Lucy and I were also here for the festive season full of the Irish blarney. With 14 of the family for mealtimes and then extended family and friends that have joined us throughout these past 12 days it has been fantastic fun. As always Mum & Dad astound us with their abundance of energy and they out stay us young folk over and over again. We all agreed it is like coming to stay at a 5 star hotel when coming home and we have already booked our trips over for the year ahead.
